Well Done

I've always been a huge fan of Secret of Mana and it's soundtrack and you didn't lessen the feel that the game gives off with this song with a poor rendition. The part between 2:00-2:20 was easily the highpoint of the song to me. If you want to make a bigger impact with your music in the future I'd suggest getting into guitar. A real electric would destroy the FL Slayer and add a new level on both sound quality and personal touch. Anyway keep it up.

bitium-ribbon responds:

Haha yeahhh I'm not much of a guitar player. Like, at ALL. But thanks for the review! :)

Impressed

I'm not a huge fan of this genre, (I do like a few songs in it) however I really liked the epic feel you gave it with the choirs. Your EQ and Stereo as well was very well done. Overall very well done... superb job actually, keep it up! and Kill Bill, Mother @#(#@%!

mseemercury responds:

thank you bro

rock solid

I love this song a lot also :p. If you have AIM message me at TenchuOCR and I'll send you something that I'm sure you listen to a lot :p.

Bezo responds:

Unfortunately, I don't and never will have AIM.

nice

I enjoyed the energy of this song a lot. Keep up the great work...You had a melody in the song that sounded exactly the same as the song The NeverEnding Story (I didn't knock you on originality). It was probably unintentional, most all tunes in music have allready been used to some degree. GJ once again.

B0UNC3 responds:

Thx for the review...I don't know, i never actually heard the neverending story theme :S.

Great job, but what programs/plugins did you use in this song...Reason 3.0 or Cubase SX or a VSTi plugin perhaps? BTW your ability to mimic the real song is amazing. The lead synth in both are perfectly identical.

Scorpion132 responds:

Well really I use a lot of programs. Even a turn table. Im learning how to use Reason 3 right now, and I am planing on getting some more remixing programs to get better. If you know any good ones, then plz tell me. I'm glad you enjoyed this remix, thx.

nice job

I have you as a 10 overall because putting the effort into play a guitar to do a song is hard work. However, you really should have run your MP3 through a program like Cool Edit Pro and fixed the EQ and loudness. It would have made it sound much cleaner and clearer. Good job on the song :D!

GoreBastard responds:

Cheers mate, you're right about that, but unfortunately I don't know much about these things... But I am learning!
Thanks for liking my re-make, and for reviewing it dude!

Great job

I really enjoyed this catchy tune a lot, great work man. Shoulda gotten a 9 at least in the contest :-/. Only flaw is that it was sort of like a loop...but that can also be a real good thing :D.

Pandora-Tranquil responds:

Thx for the review bro!
the outro wasnt that good, but that was due to the size limit.

Ver Relaxing

Started listening to it for fun and forgot I was hearing music...now that means it was a good song. :D

DJRunaway responds:

Haha :D Thanks for the review man :D

wtf is this rofl

Lol man, I have no clue what on earth I just heard, but i'll give it a 5 so it stays up for others to hear lol. Did you make this and just import the vocals? I'm sort of lost...I think im just totally confused in general :D. Nice to see your still making music here.

Sounds like "pooooor tooooes tooooord tooooooooord toooooooooooord!" lol

Bezo responds:

I'm glad you reviewed it so I can finally explain it. Newgrounds doesn't give you enough space to post the story of a song.

It's an excerpt from a dwarven opera I'm working on called, Die Goldenmeister.

The Gold Trio

It begins with Ironfisterella (Mezzo-Soprano) singing about how she longs for a man to bring her gold, as is the custom of a dwarven suitor. Hammerbeard (Baritone) and Anvilhead (Tenor) overhear this and set about trying to woo her with promises of gold, while she tries valiantly to decide which one has the nicer butt.

For this demo recording, I sang all three roles myself. So, no, I didn't just import the vocals. ;)

good

Nice job :D...Also about the 0's u get...some as has been doing it to everyone. Usually, its just a tard who wants to move up in rankings and thinks dumping you off the face of the charts keeps you out of their hair.....rather dumb if you ask me ( wish there was a blam protect rating systmem to end this :( ). Ur lucky you didnt post music at the start of Feb and March someone did it to lots of songs in the top 20 including all of my songs :p 10 times over. Thats why there are almost no songs over a 4.00 rating. It's a crappy thing people who make music got to deal with on the audio portal, best luck you can have is for people who actually like the music to vote 5 to score instead of just 10's on reviews to help balance the 0's. Good luck.

SpacLock responds:

Thanks. Keep making great music.

I've been making music off and on since June 15th, 2003.
